Victory

The Bleakwood 7"s are here. No more waiting, no more excuses, no more bullshit. Pre-orders begin shipping tomorrow, with the remaining copies available here. All purchases via this site include an instantaneous free download in your choice of format.

Gratitude goes out to all who have patiently stood by us while we weathered this storm. What doesn't kill us can only make us stronger, however, and we're determined to ensure that our next release is free from such hassles.

Inversion

Contrary to initial reports, the Bleakwood 7" will now precede the Ein Skopudhr Galdra / Mistsorrow split. To be truthful, this is how we would have prefered it all along; vinyl is closer to our hearts than anything digital, so it feels more fitting that it should be the format of our first release.

The exact date of its arrival is as yet unconfirmed, but we're expecting it to be sometime around late October or early November. As the record is being pressed in an extremely limited edition of 150, those who don't cope well with disappointment would be advised to preorder their copy now.

Following not long after will be the long-promised split CD-R of pitch black ambience from Ein Skopudhr Galdra and Mistsorrow.

Foul is Fair is still accepting demos as well as looking for artists/labels with whom to trade. Interested parties should email foulisfairrecords@gmail.com.

Which brings us to out final point: we'd like to draw your attention toward the distro portion of our website, where you'll find releases by Foul is Fair alumni Bleakwood and Ironwood, as well as a smattering of cult black metal titles from around the world and some coruscating DIY noise from defunct Irish label Haunted Tapes. We realise that the selection is only small at present; that shall be remedied in due time.

Hails to all those who have stood alongside Foul is Fair during its difficult birth; your support shall not go unrewarded.

Birth

After months of biding its time, Foul is Fair now crawls forth to infect the world with the absolute best in black metal this hemisphere has to offer.

The bastard offspring of sound&fury records, Foul is Fair will begin its crusade with a split release from Ein Skopudhr Galdra and Mistsorrow, two artists who imbibe their glacial ambience with the fierce spirit of black metal. Following that will be a 7" from Sydney misanthrope Bleakwood entitled Blood & Faith.

More missives are planned, the details of which we shall unveil in due time.

Contact is encouraged - we are currently looking for worthy artists to join us, and would also like to hear from likeminded souls regarding co-operative agreements.
